The Assembly Technician performs intricate advanced assembly including ultra precision sub-assemblies and complex advanced instrumentation.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated proficiency with:

• Working to extreme tolerances on mechanical assemblies.

• Performing advanced adjustments and calibration using test instruments.

• Performing highly complex assembly and testing processes, and troubleshooting.

• Recording and analyzing test data and preparing reports when required.

• Reporting any equipment malfunction, or off-standard condition to supervisor.

• Continuously striving to improve quality and reduce operating costs by implementing improved assembly and test methods.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of technical school education in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the assembly and testing of complex electronic and or electro-mechanical devices.
  • Proficiency with a wide variety of electronic test instruments.
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative; detail-orientation with the ability to assemble products from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, etc.
